Seattle is home to a multitude of tattoo studios, and when I was tasked with helping design a new one, I knew it would be crucial to create a space and identity that could truly stand out. From deciding on a name to designing the interior, the intention was to create a space that feels inclusive, inviting, and extra-ordinary. I worked alongside Archie, the studio owner, to develop Blood Orange from the ground up. Once a name was decided, I worked on creating a brand system that felt true to Archie's style and desired studio direction. Social media and online presence are crucial to a studio's success; with this in mind, a cohesive web and social experience was created through the shop website and social post templates.

 

In addition to creating the branding, I had the (very fun) opportunity to design the studio space itself. The interior features large pops of color and eclectic furniture, including custom pieces I created (the hand-painted frog chandelier and mannequin table are two favorites).
